A GREAT SUMMER!!!

Hey All!
Now that Labor Day is nearly upon us, I thought I'd take a minute to talk about the summer at Niko Records Studio.
All I can say is WOW. Since June we've added at least 6 new recording clients and at least 5 new students. We are very grateful and feel extremely blessed.
We wish to thank all of the new clients and students for their support. Also, to previous clients and students............thanks for your ONGOING support.
We look forward to a GREAT fall and winter at the studio!!

THE MASTER TOUCH

Recently I was invited by IK Multimedia to attend a seminar featuring their latest TRackS 3 Mastering Suite. The seminar was on a Friday night in Nashville on Music Row at SAE INSTITUTE. The featured speaker was Bil Vorndick, famed engineer of Bela Fleck and the Fleck Tones.
Mr. Vorndick is an avid user of the newest TRackS 3 suite from IK Multimedia. In fact, I was so impressed with it, I decided to purchase it for the studio.
Ladies and gentlemen, the MASTERS emerging from Niko Records Studio right now are for the most part, well, STAGGERING. The software features emulations of vintage gear that was dissected by IK Multimedia's teams. The mystery is how they can actually figure out how the algorithms convert into tube sound.
But they do it. Perhaps most impressive is the emulation of the FAIRCHILD Compressor. This is just one component in the upgraded TRackS 3. According to Mr. Vorndick, the Fairchild is currently worth $30,000 on the street.
All I know is that it sounds GREAT.

Niko Records Studio is proud and pleased to welcome Clarksville, TN's own, the incredible and talented gospel artist, SHAMOND SCALES!
Shamond's LIVE project, THE GOSPEL, scheduled for release the first quarter of 2010, was recorded at the Fortress in Nashville, TN on May 30, 2009.
The recording features his own band comprised of local Clarskville, TN musicians and additional singers from Detroit, MI and New York City. Not a single performer was over the age of 25.
In addition to some editing in the studio, additional vocal tracks are being added at Niko Records Studio.
Through his songwriting, Shamond demonstrates maturity beyond his 19 years of age. The songs stylistically range from Jazz to Blues to Pop, combining Contemporary Gospel elements all interspersed with these styles; the end result is unique beyond belief. Most significantly, the performances on this live recording are flawless. This is going to be an OUTSTANDING compact disk!
Not to mention there is LOTS of interest in Shamond from major labels.
SHAMOND SCALES is the REAL DEAL, folks. You'll want a copy of THE GOSPEL when it's released!!

On this day 7 years ago, 01-10-03, Niko Records Studio was officially BORN!!
What a wonderful ride it's been. We look forward to many more wonderful years.
We want to thank each and every one of you for your support and friendship through the past 7 years. It's been MORE than great. It's been AWESOME!!
